HOW TO FIND US
Christie Way Clinic (West Didsbury/Chorlton):
BY CAR: There are limited car parking spaces available directly outside the clinic.

BY BUS: Several bus routes stop close to Christie Way, including 23, 86, 87, 101, 103, 111 and 172.
Services run frequently from Manchester City Centre, Stockport, Trafford and Wythenshawe.

BY TRAM: Our clinic is within a 20 minute walk to both Barlow Moor Road and Withington tram stops, which run lines between Manchester Airport or East Didsbury and Oldham or Rochdale, via Manchester City Centre. ​​​

Manchester Institute of Health & Performance Clinic (Openshaw):

BY CAR: A "Health Car Park" is situated on site on Wilson Street, M11 2AZ. Click here for directions to the car park.

BY BUS: Several bus routes stop close to Manchester Institute of Health and Performance, including 53, 216, 219, 231 and 726.
​
BY TRAM: The clinic is within 15 minute walk to Velopark tram stop, which runs between Eccles and Ashton-under-Lyne via Manchester City Centre.

ACCESSIBILITY
We want to make sure everyone can attend their appointment safely and comfortably. If you have accessibility or mobility needs, you may be eligible for additional transport support.

NHS Patient Transport Service (PTS)

You may qualify for free NHS Patient Transport if you:

Have a medical condition that makes it difficult to travel by other means

Require assistance during the journey

Have mobility challenges that prevent you from using public transport or taxis

Ring and Ride Accessible Transport

Ring and Ride offers door‑to‑door accessible transport for people who find it hard to use regular public transport. This service is designed to support:

Individuals who use walking aids or wheelchairs

Anyone who would benefit from a low‑floor, assisted‑access vehicle
If you think this may apply to you, please contact the Customer Contact Centre after 10am on 0161 244 1000 and select option 2 for Ring and Ride and their staff will be happy to help.
CHAPERONE
All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present during their consultation. This may be a family member or friend but on occasion, a formal chaperone provided by our service may be preferred.
If this is the case, please advise us at the time of booking your appointment.
The clinician may also request a chaperone during the appointment, at which point a member of staff will be present during their examination.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All staff and doctors are bound by strict rules of confidentiality. Information will only be released
with your consent and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. All staff have access to patient information unless specified by you.
