Your appointment will last approximately 20 minutes, unless advised otherwise.

To ensure accurate results, the ECG requires full access to your chest, arms, and ankles. We recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing. If needed, a covering will be provided during the procedure to maintain your comfort and privacy.

Please avoid using lotions or oily substances on your skin on the day of your appointment, unless medically necessary, as these can interfere with the electrodes. In some cases, chest hair may need to be gently removed to allow the electrodes to adhere properly and capture a clear reading.

Please note that a full consultation of your ECG results will not be provided on the day. Once analysed, your report will be sent directly to your GP. We encourage you to contact your GP after your appointment to discuss the findings​
