At Heart Networks, we offer two types of outpatient appointments: Diagnostic and Assessment.

Diagnostic Appointments
These appointments involve being fitted with a cardiac monitoring device or attending for a 12-lead ECG. After your monitoring period ends, our clinical team will review your results.
If we feel a follow‑up appointment would be helpful, we’ll arrange a routine discussion with one of our clinicians to go through your results in more detail.
If no cardiac concerns are identified, your results will be sent directly to your GP for their records. (Learn more).

Assessment Appointments
These begin with a consultation led by one of our experienced cardiac technicians. You’ll undergo a basic evaluation, including blood pressure monitoring and a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG or 'heart tracing').

Following this, a cardiology specialist will carry out a medical examination. If further testing is needed to support your diagnosis and treatment plan, we aim to complete these investigations either on the same day or within two weeks, depending on availability.

📅 Flexible Scheduling & Cancellations
We operate a cancellation list for patients who are able to attend at short notice. If a slot becomes available for the same type of appointment, we’ll prioritise those on the list. While cancellations are not guaranteed, joining the list may help you be seen sooner.
To be added, please contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
